After the success of its Mi 3, Xiaomi is all set to bring yet another uber-affordable smartphone with excellent specs in India. The   Redmi 1s  will be up for grabs today, following the ‘Xiaomi Tuesdays’ trend. The company, known to reveal information via its social channels, has revealed that 40,000 units of the device will be selling the Redmi 1s’ first Flipkart sale. It is almost four times the number of  Mi 3 units  put up for sale in the first batch. Redmi 1s is a budget phone priced at Rs 5,999, and the company is betting big on its success. After Mozilla and Spreadtrum announced plans to redefine the smartphone entry level at MWC 2014, the turnkey solution for Firefox OS smartphones in the ultra-low-cost category is now available, and sample devices utilizing Spreadtrum chipsets will be demonstrated at Mobile Asia Expo.
